The Gregory Hines Youth Scholarship Fund
In its commitment to diversity the ATDF continues to administer the Gregory Hines Youth Scholarship Fund for serious tap students ages 3 – 19. Scholarships are awarded to students based on both financial need and artistic merit. The goal of the program is not only to offer training and performance opportunities to ‘under-served’ youth, but also to encourage pre-professional level students to continue with their studies with on stage performing experience. The program brings together students from different socio-economic and racial backgrounds who wish to study in one of the following ATDF Programs:
Year-Round Youth Classes (ages 3 – 19)
Intensives & Workshops (ages 13 – 19)
Tap City Youth Ensemble (ages 10 – 19)
Tap City, the NYC Tap Festival (ages 6 – 19)
